The phone and email messages we receive from our patients at the University of Michigan Student Run Free Clinic are important to us. We always aim to return calls or emails within 24-48 hours. Please note that due to our often unpredictable student schedules that we may or may not respond during “traditional” business hours.

Our clinic phone numbers and emails are in place for scheduling, delivery of lab results and arranging further testing, and for coordinating social services. They are never meant to be used for urgent or emergent needs. If you have a medical emergency, you should call 911 or go to the nearest emergency room. If you are in danger of harming yourself or someone else, please call the National Suicide Prevention Hotline at 1-800-273-TALK (8255) or go to the nearest emergency room.

These policies are in place to allow us to provide the best care to all of our patients. Thank you for your understanding.
